MotorSport New Zealand launches “The Inside Line” weekly podcast
MotorSport New Zealand is excited to announce the launch of a brand-new weekly podcast, The Inside Line, bringing fans closer to the people, stories and action that make New Zealand motorsport one of the most exciting sporting communities in the country.
From the global stage of Formula One through to grassroots ClubSport events across the country, The Inside Line will showcase the drivers, personalities and moments shaping the sport, highlighting everyone from the rising stars to the weekend warriors who power motorsport at every level.
The show will be hosted by legendary motorsport broadcaster Stephen McIvor, whose years of experience covering the sport in New Zealand will bring insight, entertainment and deep knowledge to every episode.
Joining the production team is Nigel Carpenter, a veteran motorsport television producer who will serve as the show’s producer, while David Hedge and Volt Media come on board as the show’s technical production partner.
Backing the project as naming rights partner is MountShop, a brand long associated with New Zealand motorsport and performance.
“The Inside Line is about telling the stories that make our sport special,” said MotorSport New Zealand President, Deborah Day.
“From world-class drivers competing internationally through to the incredible grassroots community that keeps motorsport thriving in New Zealand, this podcast will bring fans closer to the action and the personalities behind it.”
The first episode will feature Supercars star Ryan Wood, fresh from making history by scoring the first-ever Supercars podium for the Toyota Supra.
Episode one of The Inside Line thanks to MountShop drops this Wednesday and will be available on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and across MotorSport New Zealand’s social media channels.
